Time for some Science! Do you have a way to actually measure the light at your plants' canopy level? There's a few apps for your phone out there that will do this. I like Photone, because it will give you lux, PPFD, DLI, etc.
If you can get the PPFD you can use the calculator on the Photone website and figure out what your DLI (Daily Light Integral) is for the light your plants are seeing to make sure you're getting enough but not too much. Since it's a Auto you don't have to shift to 12/12 but you should find that place where your plant gets the best light exposure (something like 40-50 DLI).
