Bud rot caused by cattarpillars fix?

Caterpillars causing bud rot in last 2 weeks of outdoor grow. How do i prevent more damage? how do i remove/kill catterpillars. Ive lost over 3 oz so far.

To prevent there are some things u could try next time. Plant some repellants like pepermint lavender and sage. They dont like it. You could also try to make you place friendly to the bigger insects like bees and wasps, by growing some flowers as well. Monoculture is always affected by plagues. If there is a good biodiversity around it is more able to balance itsself without a mass overshoot of a specific specie. Ps great plants. Amazing grow

Well,it´s a bitch. So close to harvest I never risk any substances,so I pick by hand and relocate, do not have the heart to kill them, nor real reason ;-). I´m quite used to it, some areas have them ( especially those close to trees), some not. In the latter half of august I start looking for their poop, small dark nuggs the size of pepper grains or smaller. Then I search the collas above and I find them. Labor intensive, but that´s the game lol. All the best bro.

I would pick them off by hand. In the last two weeks I would not spray anything on the buds.
