Hi @Jmanc your leaves will recover fine but it's important to treat the slug problem immediately with snail baits or better still some diatomaceous earth because not only does it deter pests it also is a natural silica source and is beneficial for your plants 😀😀 Win Win with DE Simply sprinkle some around the plants soil and you can also mix a qtr teaspoon with 500mls of water and spray onto the leaves. Hope I have provided a solution to your question Mate

You can leave the affected leaves as they are not infected with anything. You can put crumbs of eggs shells around the base of your plants or surrounding the pots. I use to do that with my garden when I lived in Belgium there was so many and it worked. You can also put some type of aluminum sheeting around your pots so if they dare to cross the sheet they will burn from the heat retained in the aluminum. There are more options also if none of the two I mentioned are working.

If you still have slugs you can put out small trays of beer that will attract them drown them or get them in one area were you can eliminate them. if the leaves are damaged beyond repair remove them. Your plants should make a good recovery. Hope this helps.💪😎
