Light Cycle Questions

Even though its an autoflower it was crossed with a photoperiod to produce better buds. So the breeder crosses many generations keeping only the "Auto" trait to eventually remove the photoperiod trait. This can be a recessive trait and will come out every once and a while. So the seed you planted was one of those off cases that it reverted back to a photoperiod and should be treated that way. If you change the light cycle back it will re-veg or even worse start growing bannana's or pollen sacks from stress. Keep it at 12/12. Happy Growing

Yeah I’m team 12-12 here too. It could be a photo seed mixed into an auto package. If 12-12 did the trick I agree to stay 12-12. Because at this point you don’t really know if it is an autoflower.

How about reading the question before copy-pasting? guy says his auto didn't flower and I checked his diary at week 8 the plant has no signs of flowering,he did the right move to set down the lights to 12/12 and says it started flowering,checked. bro you should definitely do what ash2man said,consider it as a photo and stick with 12/12,no need to take a huge risk you waited that long.

I think that even switching to 18/6 now you won't have any problems :)

Hey friend, how's it going? I hope so.. For an auto, it's always good to keep it at 18/6, the yields will be much better. I never use 12/12 for autos. But you're still in time to switch to 18/6 and get a good yield. Either way, with 12/12 you would also have a good yield. Good luck and cheers!
