I have a fat banana auto, in a 1.5 l put cut out bottom because I'm planing on transplanting it to bigger pot as soon as my other auto finished off. (About 2 more weeks) . Today i discovered the roots are already touching bottom of the cut out pot. Is this mold on the roots??

No it is not mould, but "radicles" or "lateral meristems" and are the beginnings of the roots branching out into a feathery pattern. Nothing wrong, totally normal. Hope this helps,............. Organoman.

Do not worry friend, the stuff that looks like mold is actually the roots. I have always had roots like this at the begining, those fuzzy roots will eventually get thicker and resemble what you are used to. Dont fret its all natural!

I don't believe it is. I'm sure the plants would look stressed if it was.
