How long does everyone keep the cover on their seedlings before exposing them to the flow of air via fans? Some people remove the covers as soon as they pop. Others keep them on for a couple of weeks. Let's start the conversation :)

In 35+ years of growing, I have NEVER covered my seeds or seedlings, only clones NEED extra humidity. Cannabis is not a rainforest plant! Seeds need good air exchange to germinate and air circulation for health and strength once they sprout. There is no NEED for a cover of any sort, this is an outdated myth from the 1960s. Nice choice of breeder though, all their genetics are "A grade" ! Hope this helps, Organoman.

I usually keep it on until 1st set of true leaves form, but not fully closed.

Cotyledon leaf falling off an autoflower while seed husk is falling off Has anyone ever had a cotyledon leaf fall off of an autoflower as the seed husk was coming off? One of mine did from my sweet mango auto. The 2 first "true" leaves are present and seem to be growing. Just wondering if it will be heavily stunted because of this. Converse away :)

Inside of seed stuck on cotyledon leaves keeping them together Has anyone ever had the inside of the seed stay on and keep the two cotyledon leaves together? The outer hard shell has come off. How long to wait before giving up on germination?Still waiting for germination. A part of me worries that I buried the seeds a bit too deep (ended up probably closer to 3/4"-1" deep). However I know these things can take time so trying to be patient. What is the longest you would wait for a seed to sprout before giving up?
