many potential causes... a foliar spray used could potentially burn pistils. If it got knocked up by some pollen, it would turn color early. Too much light would cause the pistils at top to turn earlier than rest of plant -- in a more obvious way than the normal top-down development.
Check for nanners can easily quell fear of seeds.
be careful of anything you apply to foliage at this stage.
if only at top, maybe raise lights an inch or 3.
could just be "time" ... it's gotta start at some point and each plant can be quite different how it progresses. Seen some that looked like bud by week 6 with plump calyxes... and still take another 3-4 weeks to finish. Seen some that develop at seemingly light-speed in last few weeks too... with only white hairs just before that with little plump.
What i see is a healthy plant... you've got a lot more intimate knowledge to eliminate the possibilities.
