What is this new growth

I have fresh green growth with new white pistils on mature buds. Plant is in the fade stage with leaves going yellow. Buds look ripe but there are still no Amber trichomes.
What is this fresh green growth ?
Should I harvest now and not wait for trichomes to turn Amber ?

That's foxtailing, which could be a result of heat stress or being pushed past her due date

Yeah this new growth, looks like the start of foxtailing, to much light stress dim you lights or raise the hight, as it will start on every cola

Yeah starting to foxtailing, too much light or stress, some plants are more prone to do it then others... Don't worry about that, cut when buds are ready and don't wait for those new ones to be mature!😎

How to reduce yield? (without reducing quality)Can I prune down to 3 or 4 colas? When? Or better to let it grow normally and compost the extra? I've found it too easy to grow way more than I can use. How many inches from top of canopy should I be?I’m currently sat 16 inches away, it’s a spider farmer g3000 300w led light.
