Hey, you can use both electronic or paper strops (cheaper and effective). A correct and scientific approach is to test soil diluited with distilled water in the ratio of 250 ml of water for 100 grams of soil at 20°c. This will preserve eventually tester probe.
Hello i use a ph meter for soil . you plant it in the soil and you have your ph. Or you can take a little of soil then put it in small botlle mix it with disstilled water , shake it and measure the ph. Good luck
