85 -88f is fine as long as humidity matches - if you haven't already downloaded a VPD chart I'd recommend you do so as it might provide some reassurance or give you an indication of ideal growing conditions.

Open up the flaps on the tent the one on bottom. Or get a inline fan at on of the bottom ports. I have a 315w in a 3x3 right now in a closet bottom flaps open exhuast going up to attic. U need a intake basically. Good luck 👍 keep growing

Air conditioner + exhaust fan and you still can't control heat ? Hard do do more , so maybe you should consider growing with CO2 to be able to grow with higher temps without harming your plants. Or you'll have to be an everyday McGyver to find a new temporary solution each day

At the moment there isn't much you can do. I would upgrade the air system to get more flow and give them additional water to keep the roots cooled. And try to run the light during night time when temps are low. If possible, get air from outside to cool down your tent.

I agree with MMJMD, flip your light schedule. If your already using AC and running your exhaust fan at full speed, there’s not much more you can do. Air intake from outside would help but only if temps outside are cooler than inside- which can be tricky during the summer months. Some lights are just not well suited to certain spaces because of temperature concerns. If this remains a consistent problem, I would consider LED lighting as it produces considerably less heat while still offering excellent light coverage/penetration. Just a thought, good luck and all the best growing forward!

Flip your light schedule. Turn your lights on at night and keep your babies asleep during the day. It’ll help.

hello mate ! if you have a cool tube reflector for your cmh,you can buy a extractor fit for your needs ,some ductings and you can follow this guideline on the order https://free-the-tree.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/cooltube-after-air-filter-1024x220.png ,this will cool your light good and try getting a humidifier with cool mist which can blow 8 hours straight ,then you got your temps stable around 24-27celsius

Where is your exhaust fan pulling from? The top or bottom? Pulling air from the top helps remove hotter air as hot air rises. If you can get ducting to near the light to pull air straight from there it could help. Does your light have any parts which produce heat which could be installed outside the tent? Does your exhaust fan generate heat? If so, could you mount it outside with ducting? Definitely switch the timer to off during the hottest hours and on during the coldest (as someone suggested run at night and off during the day) Lastly open up the vents to allow cooler air in. Hope this helps!

Is your thermometer shaded or away from your lights? If it's positioned under your lights you will be measuring radiant heat which will be significantly higher than the actual air temp. I only ask because your plants still look pretty healthy! If the thermometer is correctly reading the air temp, then flipping the dark period to the hottest part of the day could help. You can also help the plant better tolerate the heat by keeping high levels of humidity. Good luck with your grow!

@mrmateo Hi mate first of all is your exhausted air going outside or just back into the room ? And my solution is to simply switch running hours so the lights are Off during the heat of the day and On at night when it's cooler. It wont hurt your plants if you do it now as they are stilll young enough to handle any lighting schedule changes

I would try and duct the cold air from the air conditioner straight into the tent if it’s half close, and a small fan by the duct to blow some colder air up towards the light good luck

Do you have an exhaust system set up an intake and out take for the heat these lights are known to produce? Do you have a carbon scrubber for smell to help pull heat out ...you may if possible open up the tent more or all the vents and raise those lights as high as they can go ... Hope this helps at all heat is a bitch even when ac running cheers and best of luck..
