Should I remove fan leaves and continue to scrogHi guys I wanted to know if I should be picking off the fan leaves at the top of the canopy... Or should I leave them on? I just started week 2 of flowering. And also if should I still tuck her under the scrog till the end of week 2 or stop now?

What is the risk to apply HS training(Topping Defoliation) to the strain for which LST/SCRoG is recommended?I am growing Auto Black Opium(Divine Seeds).
The description says SCROG and LST work good.
I started bending it recently and did 1 time topping earlier.
I feel I need to do some defoliation, but it will be 2nd HS technique, which contradicts the recommendations.

Please see pics from week7. this is after defoliation and looks like fan leaves will overshadow cola sites again in a few days. should I defoliate more or leave it? Remove lower branches on this grow?Should I just remove the lower branches or keep them? They are getting pretty heavily shaded but I rotate the grow bag daily to expose the under canopy growth. This is the only plant I have ever not been able to LST the main Cola, I opted to top it and LST'ed the lower branches.6y ago

Topping or LST after 1st toppingLast week I topped this little baby, the plant now is growing ok. I noticed that not only the two top side branches are growing a lot, but that the ones on the node under it too.
I would like to make the 4 grow and like that I don't have to top more, is it ok? How can I do it?
