How do people grow in colder months? My grow tent is too cold. How do I warm it up?

I've had the same problem! My solution was two-fold: first, I really only had the heat problem when the lights were off so, since autoflowers really don't care, I switched from 18/6 to a solid 24. I next encountered the problem as the nights were getting cold and I turned my own heat down when I went to bed (my tent is, weirdly, in my bedroom). I LIKE "sleeping cold" but my babies didn't... so I've had to keep the room temperature up a few notches from where I like it so they'll be happy - and so far, so good. You don't tell us what temps you're able to get but you've got enough space in your tent to add a small heater... a friend of mine uses a Lasko (designed to be used under desks or something like that) ... small, cheap (?) and readily available. I'm thinking of getting one myself so I can go back to sleeping cold! Good luck!

It's not hard to add a small heater, a small circular heater that can throw out convection in 360 degrees for a even distribution. Doesn't hurt to throw a blanket on too, also make sure it's off the floor

Hi, In my country we face temperatures of 0-5 at night and 10 by day +/-. It will get worst but we manage like this: A carpet or rug below the tent helps when the floor is so cold. You can also place the ballast in tent that can raise temp a bit. Keeping new air in the room where the tent is at is very important but there's no need to keep it open all day. When sun starts coming down temperatures will drop a lot and at this time is very important to try to preserve whatever heat was generated during day. You can also reduce the possible gaps that might be leaking air with tape. If you cover your tent with some cloths without closing the exhaust exit or any intake that you need to recycle air might help. There's something like tubular heaters that help and are like 50w or something like that which isn't that much for a heater. There's also a heat cable that you can place next to the pots to keep roots happy.

I have my grow tent inside a lung room where I maintain the temperature and humidity. In fall the lights and dehumidifier in the room generate enough heat but in winter a electric heater keeps the room warm.

I both my tents are inside my house so too cold isn’t really an issue for me. You could maybe add a small heater on an Inkbird heat-A/C thermostat that may help your situation. That’s what I would do. Or bringing your tent into a more temperature controlled environment would help. Hope that helps. Cheers 🤙
