Demineralized water to finish

Hey folks! Got a question about giving fresh water to finish. I bought some demineralized water to give them for the last week. The problem being I can't seem to get a reading on ph. I'm assuming because there's no ions in the water . Is this stuff ok to use opposed to distilled?

As long as your using fresh water with no added nutrients and the PH isnât drastically off youâll be fine. You arenât wanting your plants to uptake nutrients from medium (soil, coco etc) any more, so nutrient lockout due to the PH being off shouldnât be a worry.
The principle of flushing of flushing is to flush out the nutrients youâve been feeding your plants from the medium so that the plants can use up what has been stored in its leaves.

Your right with you won't get a reading on your digital pen. For flushing out the medium and plant it shouldn't really matter to much.

Slow release soilI know it isnt ideal but how bad is osmocote soil which has slow release shit for the plant? Ive heard some say it works surprisingly fine, i do plan to eventually get the canna terra range of soil and veg/flower nutrients (probs next grow)
