Have you tried upping your ppm? A very low ppm can cause pH swings - suggestion is ready some water, calmag up to 150-200ppm, test pH, wait 24, test pH. pH does creep over time but 5 points over night is quite a big swing. Also, if you have used your pH meter on very low or zero tds waters like RO water without buffering with calmag it can damage your pH meter so best to recalibrate if you tried that. Hope that helps, let me know if you try it!

Man I’m not the most experienced grower but I’ve been racking my brain on this question for a while. Either A I suspect your PH meter is out of whack because 9.2 is high for tap water most municipalities try and keep it closer to 7.0, mine comes out at 7.12-7.22 but your area could be 9.2 but I’m finding that value pretty suspect. Maybe you need to recalibrate your PH meter or get a new one to compare values to the one you have now. It may be dickered. Or B, you may have a bacteria or some type of pathogen in your water reservoirs or whatever you use to hold your water. I’ve done some research and found that pathogens or water born bacteria can mess with PH and create imbalances. Maybe have to give all that equipment a cleaning with a bleach solution. That’s the first two things I would look at.
