at only 49 days you still have a lot of growth ahead of you. it will start stacking on trichs soon and for the rest of the grow. the amount of trichs also highly depends on the genetics of the plant. some just don't get as covered in trichs as others. also don't consider the breeders finishing time frame as the 100% guaranteed time they will finish. 90% of the time the seeds take at least 2 weeks longer than the breeder says. i have some autos going right now that said they finish at 65-70days from sprouting and here i am on day 79 still waiting for them to get some amber trichs. what you really want to do is get a 60x loupe or a usb microscope and check the trichs every day when you get close to thinking it is harvest time. depending on the kind of high you want determines how early or late you harvest based on trich colors. if you want a more energetic heady high harvest with fewer amber trichs like 1-5% amber and as many cloudy and as few clear as possible. if you want a balanced high shoot for say 10-20% amber and as many cloudy and a few clear as possible. if you want a sleepy couch lock high go for like 30-40% amber and by that point, the rest should all be cloudy. dont forget to select one of these answers as the solution if we helped you out.

hey there, remember trichomes have a function for the plant and they form for any number of reasons, mostly environmental like if you dont give enough nutrients the plant tries to take nutrients with the trichomes, or if it gets cold somehow the trichomes get activated a bit. In any case the trichomes are there and will appear at the right time in the flowering cycle , if you really want to boost trichomes try adding PK booster every ten days you will see the crazy resin production, i'm sure. I wouldn't say 30 days until harvesting her. Watch how she behaves before considering the breeders suggested "chop date". Trichomes will form.. just give her time. Good luck
