I always dry trim after the plants have been harvested. This way most of the moisture escapes through the leaves, rather than through the flowers, which I believe is detrimental (water escaping through the flowers only, such as what happens when people wet trim).

If you want to spend less time on trimming, do it when your buds are fully wet. You can stack the buds together to dry them slower if you live in a low humidity area. If you are living in a high humidity area, then again do the wet trimming and put buds apart from each other. This way you can prevent mold. I use my fan at the lowest setting and I only use it to create air circulation inside the drying room. Do not blow the fan directly on to buds and you will be fine. Happy growing 💪

There is no wrong or right time. Sometimes I trim minutes after harvest sometimes wait for it to dry. Some people prefer to do it wet some dry. If your in a low Humidity area I would suggest waiting for it to dry as it will slow down the drying process a little.
