Preventative Neem Oil Application for Newbies

in the past, I've had pest problems. this time, I'm acting preventatively. I applied neem oil solution in a spray bottle to my seedlings and soil. leaves seemed burned afterwards. I feel like I did it wrong? can someone explain the application process plz? im learning thanks :)

You should apply after light out or a good hour before on. Lightly mist and do not let droplets build up.

Mites?Hi. What are these? Slow crawling, not fast or jumpy, about the size of this period . They swarm by the thousands after I water. Plants are doing great. I hit them with CannControl and Lost Coast, population has reduced a bit. I’m leaning towards soil mites. What do y’all think?

First grow mid-flower pest?Help! Is this pest damage and what kind? I have about 100-200 ladybugs in the grow tent, and have for about a month now so I would be surprised if it were aphids. The damage is not extensive but there is a little here and there. Cant find anything under leaves.
