Mold or spiders?

that is some nasty mold my friend i can assume its either been left in a humid enviroment or been left in a unclean enviroment and way mold infests the inner parts of the bud first and it works its way out so its pretty much worthless and would be very nasty to smoke if not harmful to your lungs I wouldnt want to try lol I assume it was a large plant you cropped ? If it was then it will most likely be the humiditty levels gotta abit outta wack in the last few weeks humid and warm temps can attract mold spores within a few hours and they spread fast trying to reproduce like most molds they are very aggressive and fast spreading. Large plants create a huge amount of humidty themselves if you tie that in with hydroponic systems drippers ect it can sometimes get a bit out of control i think the only wau to really prevent it is to get a really really good extraction systems and as much airflow as possible if you see anymore just bin it my friend some parts of the plant will be okat but any with that stuff on will be gone im afraid bro can happen to any of us it happend to me this year outdoors the uk is just too humid to grow unless your proper on the pest control and health :) best of luck for the next one brother :) 👊

That is bud rot. You want to carefully remove any sign of it. Its a mold so it will shoot spores out when disturbed and spread to good buds. It is caused by a lack of air circulation, Heat and humidity. Just the buds that show it are ruined. It would be best to harvest and wet trim all the leaves off to prevent more rot. Use a different pair of snips to cut out the rot.

It’s hard to say from the pictures if it’s mold or spiders. But if it’s spiders you should be able to see many specs walking around. Either way yes your bud is fucked. No you don’t have to trash the whole harvest. Just remove the bad shit and discard it. Keep the good stuff. If it makes you feel better I had 26.5 grams waste out of my Jane.
