Yes u can defoliate but do it over a week span. U don't want to strip them all at once. I strip 50% of what I want. Then 3 or 4 days later finish defoliate. And u only want to defoliate to expose bud sites. Plant still needs leaves to grow.

@VikRik Now is the perfect time to remove fan leaves and the lowest bud sites as they won't come to much anyway but the main thing is to allow more air circulation in and around your developing buds.
Hot humid air can become trapped in a too dense canopy so I YES I would recommend a liitle defoliation
for the purpose of creating extra air flow Hope this helps Mate Good luck 😀

Remove lower branches on this grow?Should I just remove the lower branches or keep them? They are getting pretty heavily shaded but I rotate the grow bag daily to expose the under canopy growth. This is the only plant I have ever not been able to LST the main Cola, I opted to top it and LST'ed the lower branches.4 years ago

Popcorn/ mini branches keep/remove?Buds are tiny not fattening at week 6. I also have lots of popcorn nugs. Being first growth not sure to remove them or keep them at this late in flowering (week 6), might stress the girls out or might even help fattening buds?

Show I cut main stem?Should I get rid of the main stem and just grow the surrounding bud sites? The main stem is getting too tall compared to the other stems so thinking I have to do something to help them catch up? Or just cut the main stem entirely? Finished 1st week of 12 12 tonight.
