Too bushy?

Should I attempt any more defoliation at this point? Each plant individually doesn’t have a crazy amount of leaves, but it’s pretty crowded in there, any suggestions?

Rather than defoliating, you could just try tuckong leafs back outta the way of your buds so they have light penetration through the canopy. If you defoliate only do say 5-10% of leafs and after defoliation, you may notice water consumption drop for a couple of days or the plant may look a bit grumpy as a sign of stress - when water intake is back to normal or plant has picked up again you can do some more defoliation. Small and often is the way, you dont wanna force em to grow balls.

well most of them are not in week 1 of flower there more like late week 2 or early to mid week 3. and best advice would be do no defoliation past week 3 at risk of small yield. and since they look to be close to 3rd week i would leave them bro. the joy of growing autos lol

I would only take little amounts at a time in selective spots covering bud sites. Handful at most then wait a couple days.

Strategically remove the fan leaves that are blocking light for getting to the down the middle of the canopy. You can also just pick a few every day and that way it’s only a few small little owies. 🤣 In moderation. If you’ve removed a lot already today then wait until tomorrow to take a few more.
