I'm a newbie as well and my first grow (I'm doing my second one now) had the same problem... I ended up having to leave some vents open or partially open... for your heat, I'd suggest leaving a couple of bottom vents open and definitely one on top (heat rises... bring in cooler air from the bottom and let the heat escape from the top). I experimented with a number of configurations before I got a handle on the heat issue. I don't have an issue of needing to hide the smell, thankfully ... if I did, I'd have to actually spend money on some filters and venting ... hopefully you don't have to worry about this issue! As for your humidity, you really DO need to get it up! Best (easiest and cheapest) way is to drench a couple of towels, wring them out and hang them in the tent... again, experiment with how many towels you need to achieve at least a 40% humidity level... I'd check the towels at least twice a day to make sure they haven't dried out... Good luck with your grow.... remember, there is no one right answer to everything... experiment around to find out what works for you! My first grow was 3 plants, each planted about a week apart ... so the first seed to pop up received ALL of my ignorance... the second got much better treatment and my third was a fairly happy camper all the way through... I'm now on to my second grow and feeling a hell of a lot more confident - but there's still so much to learn! 😊

A desktop swamp cooler will lower temp and raise humidity….use ice blocks in it

Can get a humidifier or hang a fresh wet towel daily in tent. You want humidity about 40 percent in late flowering. Temps are way too warm. 82 F not sure in C what that is, is max temps without co2 supplements

You should link your diary to the question. this way people can easily go into your grow and find out whats happening. Your HID lighting should have its own ventilation system as they run hot and the tent should have some sort of ventilation as well that's separate from the HID lighting. You will need to invest in a humidifier for sure as 12% RH is way to low. you want to be around 40% in flower. Can hang wet towels in the tent to boost humidity as a shotgun solution till you have better tools at your disposable. As for temps they should be below 28c at the very max, ideally around 24-26c. Your are correct in thinking high temps will cause issues as they will. you may notice as you continue into flower. However some strain like it hot, I hope you have one of them. Best of Luck and Happy Growing.

Temp and humidity are fine in the pic, cus I have to leave the tent open. But that's not going to be possible once the smell gets stronger. I have a fan but it really seems to do nothing in keeping the temps down. And I've been using wet towels to temporarily raise the humidity, but it only lasts an hour or 2 before it's dry. So it's not an ideal solution

You definitely need to get those temps and humidity in check.. Exhaust fan if possible, humidifier will help with humidity obviously as well as pull down the temperature.. Switching to an LED will help immensely probably as well..
