Grow room too hot solution!!

Hi👋🏼 What is the best cooler ,AC or climate changer for a 1x1x2 tent with 2200w led (veg/bloom On)? I’m looking4 something that dehumidifies as well and changes the temperature from 32 to around 25C. Do you recommend sth that fits in with a convenient price?

hello If you're wanting cold and less humidity definitely look into an ac unit versus a swamp cooler. You could try running the light without the bloom switch and see if that changes the temp at all. Then with such a high powered light i would raise it a few inches to avoid too much light stress and leaf surface temps get a bit lower. Keep trying new things. Happy growing. ✌️

Hey friend, I would say Portable air cooler will do that.I’ve done that before.It will cost around 50~100$ which using cold water to cool air.I compactly glue a cartoon box at the air cooler fan without any air leak.And then make a hole on the box for about 4” or 6” depends on your grow tent inhale line.All the cool air from air cooler will go straight to the tent and it will also reduce humidity of the tent.I can reduce my grow tent temp from 30~34C to 24~26C when light on.Hope it will help.Happy Growing.. ✌️

Smell problem I have a small tent from airontek, not the best in quality with a carbon filter and extractor inside the box, but the smell outside is too strong. When using carbon filter do i have to expect to have (almost) no smell or maybe Im doing some mistakes? The smell is very strong

Throw out one plant?Is it productive to kill one plant if the rest of the plants are filling out the room just fine and to promote ventilation and light penetration? I have one plant that is way shorter and behind the others due to genetic problems.

Carbon filter effectiveness at harvest Hey everyone, just wondering if carbon filters actually get rid of 100% of the smell from the harvest point while drying? Air flow method I removed the hood from the home AC to run cold air directly into the grow tent with a 4 inch duct at the bottom. I have an inline fan to push hot air out to balance out the air pressure at the top. Is this a good idea or should I just have a fan inside with no in or out?

Currently using a 4x8 tent in a garage that is dusty. would getting a extra intake be better for my plants?Currently using a 200mm inline exhaust with a max cfm of 537,96 and using a intake with a max cfm of 194. currently using the exhaust on medium setting so 466 cfm. would it be better for my plants to get more air from outside with a new but small intake of about 128 cfm ?

High humidity Hello. Even with a dehumidifier and a 24-hour extractor, the humidity is still above 70% and one of the plants is almost in the flowering period. Can I add expanded clay on top of the vase to see if it lowers the humidity or putting more perlite will solve this? Thanks.

Tried mini dehumid. still issues with portable ac (added @ 9pm 6/2) see pic for graph Avg RH was 45%,had spikes @ 80% RH in dark, added portable ac to my tent. It raised avg. RH not lowered. Intake @ 40% RH that runs on a humidity cont. set @45%Now Day RH ~52%, Night RH ~60%.Ac starts RH spikes to 70% in dark. WTF am I doing wrong. Id hate to lose it to mold.

Odor Problem in the last 2-3 weeks i have a problem with smell in the last 2-3 weeks... i have a 0,80mx1,50m tent with a Rhino Pro carbon filter 765m³/h inside the tent and a carbon filter 800m³/h on the exhaust. smell inside the grow room is quite subliminal but i can recognize it... what would you suggest?

Best Humidifier for 3x3x2 grow tent and best way to set up?I’m about to buy a dehumidifier. Finding one with programable humidity levels makes them too big 4 my tent & the small ones can’t be programmed to turn off when humidity is too low. Can I get a cheap one with no controls and manage humidity with my Humidistat alone? Will it work?

Can I close the door of my closet?My tent is located in a closet kind of room (5x2 meters) and I was wondering if could close the door during the night because the fan is a bit noisy. Can I exhaust my grow tent into the closet it's in?I'm putting a 3x3 grow tent into a larger closet I have (maybe 8' x 4')? So I guess the closet is called the lung room? I will have a carbon filter and inline fan in the grow tent exhausting out. Can I exhaust out into the closet it's in? Or is that a no-no? Pros and Cons?
