4x4 16 Plant Veg Time and Training

Hello guys, I am planning on flowering these 16 ladies in my 4x4, but I am unsure of how long to veg and what training to utilize for maximum yield. I was thinking 3-4 weeks? Or maybe longer? Is topping in such a tight space a good idea? If yes then at what time? Thanks!

Its a hard one really because all of the strains will have different finishing times so if it was me I would just grow them in a S.O.G type style and then you can harvest the first to mature without interupting the growth of the others Just make sure to allow lots of air flow in and around the plants to reduce the risk of hot spots and budrot and for maximum yield trim all of the lower branches that wont get full lighting hope you have a great grow @DopeGrows

16 plants in a 4x4 would fit perfectly in 1 gallon containers (especially square ones) you might want to think about an auto watering system otherwise could be a pain in the arse. But if definitely go for minimal veg time and grow 16x single cola plants 👍🔥🌱

I’d just stick with keeping them as is.. different plants and strains are gonna react differently to topping. If you’re gonna do this, and I were you, I’d just let em get to about 5 nodes and flip. No topping, do LST on some if necessary but don’t plan on it..

Could do Sea Of Green or SOG and top once around week 2 or 3. Then just let them grow out. Switching to flower in week 5 or 6. Or SCROG like the other comment, I'd guess it would be hard to get access to all the plants in the back if a net is up and they are intertwined in it unless your tent unzips 3/4 of the frame. 16 is a lot of plants as they can all grow quite large. So have a solid plan no matter what you chose and make room extras. Best of Luck and Happy Growing!

with that many plants your looking at doing a sog in a 4x4. Your giving each plant a 1x1 area to grow in so I would say no to topping or even LST. I would imagine you would be more concentrating on the main top cola for each plant. Your going to want to do a "12/12 from seed" so they don't over crowd each other. It called that but a plant has to mature to flower and it has been proven that its better to give more light and then flip at week 3-4) So I would say switch around week 3. Defoliate the lower sites and make sure you have good airflow.
