I have a full tent of plants with level trained canopies. I couldn't get Banana Purple Punch B to bend at the top, so I just tied down the side branches. However, I'm afraid of her growing taller than the rest of the canopy. Should I top her?

Google how to super crop and it will give you info on what to do for a HST method that is not topping. I LST the shit out of my plants and I almost always snap a brand by mistake, they seem to heal and do fine once they are back to normal.

Hey, it's all about keeping that canopy nice and even! If your Banana Purple Punch B isn't cooperating with bending at the top, tying down the side branches was a good move to keep things balanced. But if you're worried about it shooting up taller than the rest, topping could be an option. Topping will help control the height and encourage some bushier growth, which can be beneficial for evening out your canopy. Just make sure you're doing it at the right time. Since you're in week 5 of veg, it's a good time to consider it. When you're topping, remember to do it cleanly with sterilized scissors or shears to avoid any stress or damage to your plant. You'll want to snip off the top growth just above a node, which will encourage those lower branches to grow out more. Keep an eye on how your plant responds after topping. It might take a little time to recover, but you should see some new growth popping up soon. With a bit of training and pruning, you'll have that canopy looking nice and even in no time. Happy growing!

Have you tried squishing and rolling the stem to soften it up before you bend? This is a good way to get them to bend without breaking.

Topping is a stress, that directs the growth to the rest of the plant and creates many even colas. This should be done early for the first time, like 4-6 nodes, then again if you want a few weeks later, if you do it too late, your plant might not recover by flower from possible shock, you can top still, but I’d put a trellis net in too, always a plus to be able to bend branches under the net

Then she may end up shorter then the rest by topping. Might try hst on any tops getting too tall.

Either top her or put 90 deg bends on any cola that gets to far ahead of the others.
