Flushing is a process that takes between 7-14 days and is not something that can be achieved in one day.
The principle behind "flushing" is to ensure any residual nutrient salts in the plants system are consumed/removed before harvest.
All that is needed to achieve this is to give the plant plain water, nothing else, for the final few days before harvest. It does not involve running gallons and gallons of water through the pot in an imitation of a toilet. Just give normal amounts of plain water at normal frequency levels and the plant will do the rest. There is no need to drown your plant or flood the bejeezus out of your substrate, all that achieves is to stimulate hyper hydrated flowers that will/can be more suceptible to problems when drying, like bud rot.
Going by your pictures, I would suggest you have another week or two before this plant is ready for a flush. Consider starting a flush when there are about 90-95% brown pistils and harvest 10 days later when there are about 95-98% brown pistils, which will coincide with about the "10-30% amber trichome" zone, which is the oft quoted "ideal" harvest time.
Hope this helps, Organoman.
