If you were going to grow in a outdoor tunnel with plants that are 4-6' mature what size fabric pot would you think is best size. Clones in June and prepare to go out mid end of July. My readings say larger pots create not as good of root system as medium size?

4ft plant needs a 60 ltr pot min. 6ft plant 100 ltrs. The trick is using a soil that is light and airy and easy for the plants roots to grow thru.. You WILL need to add quite alot of perlite to the mix to get good drainage and air flow. 100 lt pot = 30 ltrs of perlite, 10-20 ltrs of some kind of compost(mushroom compost or cow manure) and the rest needs to be light and friable sandy loam or a good quality potting mix or garden bed mix. And then you need to mulch the top with straw/pea straw ect... Check out my grow for a rough size of a 4ft plant.. mine are that high now and still in veg. And they directly in the ground with a similar soil mix to what I suggested for you. The whole thing about large pots being bad for roots is plants need soil that is rich in oxygen too and large pots with small roots = bad oxygen flow. Ever notice how a plant thats been in a small pot for way too long looks like its roots have forced all the soil to move around and split apart and in some you wonder where all the soil even went as it looks like just roots?? Thats the plant making the environment suit its self better- more air flow. So start the clones in small Solo cups til well rooted then 1 gallon pots and then go to 3 gallon pots and then to the final 65+ ltr pots and you wont have issues. Or yeah dig out 65 ltr holes and fill it with the soil/compost/perlite mix and just dont over water em.

If you want 6' tall plants you gotta go big! Imagine a 6' tall plant full of buds that is very heavy and big in a small pot, then you get a windy day... It will be top heavy and easily just blow over. I would dig a hole where your gonna grow them and put your medium in the hole instead. This will anchor your plants much better and provide the extra room the roots will need to spread out. If you insist on going with the fabric pots I would say you need as big as you can find. Hope this helps, cheers 💨
