Hindu mints re-budding, harvest time?

Kauchlock
Kauchlockstarted grow question 3 years ago
My Hindu Mints plant seems to be in different phases of flowering (top buds looking mature, med/low canopy looking young). I pushed this to flower close to 2 months ago. Flushing PH water through this plant for a week now. Any advice as to what’s going on, gotta cut it down soon?

Stagger your harvest... take off the mature top colas and allow the rest to finish up. sometimes logistics is a concern... if you got the time to leave them there, you an let the lower buds ripen longer. if not, you cut it down and move on. When you harvest takes time to learn what you prefer. Take note of: Trichome colors, Pisitl colors Density of nugs Try early-middle-late harvests over time to learn what you prefer. Using these 3 keys will keep you fairly consistent as to when you choose to harvest and how to adjust when you harvest in a meaninful way. You don't have to cut the whole plant down at once... if the lower regions are immature, you can let those go longer, if not a pain in the ass otherwise. While it is quite stressful to the plant to remove large chunks, it takes 3-4 weeks for cell differentiation to occur and give rise to nanners and sacs... That simply won't happen due to anything in that time frame. If they do pop up, it's because of what was done 3-4 weeks ago and not the last week of life.

Its fine, often happens and thats why I never harvest all at once. The bigger your plants the better this works ok. Cut off all the top and most mature looking buds when you want to harvest but leave all the smaller less mature looking buds for another week, then harvest them too. They will grow like crazy in that week without the bigger buds taking all the plants energy. Thats what i do. Only commercial growers with time constraints should be the ones who harvest a whole plant all at once. The rest of us, unless we have lollipopped em- should harvest the mature buds when ready and let the rest go until they are ready too, if possible. You dont harvest a fruit tree all at once now do you?

Just cut it all down and accept it for what it is, would be my advice. Otherwise you could go to 11/13 for a week and force the entire to plant to finish up.

Hey man. Your plant is so uniformed and at dif stages cause the light penetration wasn't there, (try some leaf tucking to expose the lower growth, or do the plant in 2 harvests this will open up the bottom unmatured without doing any defol). How far was your light away?, cause of the way it was grown there really shouldn't be any uniformed sites, or they shouldn't be far off from being done compared to other growth. Also, most plants are in the range of 50-55 days of needing flowering time, that's 6-8 weeks of flowering on top of the Veg. So, me, I'd wait, I know the flowering times they give are just guidelines but you are well off the 50-60d of the flowering phase which applies to most fems and autos. Good luck. Happy growing. I know you say 2 months but I only see 4-5wks of flowering, well that's what you have it marked down as.

Looks pretty normal. Lower bud sites finish up after the top. Plant generally finishes top down. You can harvest(if top buds trichs ready), then let the bottom sites finish up. They didn't recieve enough light to finish in time. You can also use them in other ways like edibles. Good luck!
