The best remedy I know and it worked like a charm was neem oil, cinnamon and also letting the top soil dry out before any watering, they love wet ,humid area's to lay there larva in. So neem oil and dry top pots before watering eliminated them from my garden. It takes a lil practice but you'll get it. Best of luck 👍

Do not pass go, do not collect 0... get yourself some Mosquito Bits and use as directed... this will kill fungus gnats VERY quickly. They live IN the soil (preferring damp soil so perhaps you've been overwatering?) ... anyway, MOSQUITO BITS.... You can get them through Amazon or usually you can find them in any garden center....

Diamataceous earth, cinnamon, and hydrogen peroxide all work to kill the larvae, but letting the soil dry out is essential. Sticky yellow traps catch adult gnats. Constantly too wet topsoil is heaven for fungus gnats, so you are watering too often and this is why you have them. Basically they are feeding on rotting roots that have died due to being drowned. Googling "natural control of fungus gnats" should give you many ideas. Hope this helps, Organoman.
