Hey there I'm 7 weeks into flowering and still seem to have mostly clear trichrome seems like they're taking a long time to mature? Just wondering if it's just a waiting game or if anyone can take a guess at how long they will be?

Depends on strain I would just keep checking ever 2 days or so u maybe 9 week flower

Hi, bit of a waiting game, but an overall decision too, if all hairs are red, everything fading, trichomes cloudy, some strains just dont go amber till the almost dead.
So make an overall decision not just trichomes. Look at everything. Even breeders info on genetics helps.

Bit of column a, bit of column b..
The guidelines from the breeder will give you an idea of when they may be ready, but waiting and keeping an eye on trichome development and maturation will give you the info of when your plant is ready. I've had 8 week strains take 10, and 11 week strains finish in 9.. every seed / plant may be a little different.

How close to harvest can i go im like 3 weeks out maybeI tried some soil conditioner FISH SH!T the ladies seemed to like it i wanted to do another treatment but im worried about it being too close to harvest. The website info and reviews say you czn flush with it as its just microbial boost.

1 of my plants smells like pure skunk sometimes, gg4 other times and grassy kush other times. It’s most probably a RQS royal gorilla x Critical hybrid made by a friend from their seeds but why does it smell like 3 completely different strains depending on the time I smell it?

ReplyJust from what I've seen on other zkittles diarys they seem to be abit further along at this point than my one that's all ... I have grown normal photoperiod plants before,.. main reason for trying autos is the time difference that's all, thanks for reply 👍Week 7

Do I harvest?Hi, I'm looking for advices about how to harvest. In the pictures you can see the trichomes of this plant, she is in her 11th week. I think that the trichomes still are transparents. Is first harvest using a microscope, and is just my 3rd harvest.

To the bin… i guessSo, i harvested with gloves, trimmed with gloves, stored at 1/4 capacity of the jar and hace opened the jar daily a couple of minutes, 55% humidity booster placed inside, i don’t think this is trichomes getting frosty, it’s clearly mold, isn't it? So, to the bin i guess…?
