Has anyone ever had a blinking bulb in a LED light ? One of my older lights has a bulb that is blinking, wanted to know if it was safe to still use and would it bother the plant? or is this light done for? The light is almost 4 years old also.

This affects the density of photon output, which in turn affects the effectiveness of plant growth and fruit quality. I used to have a mars 600 that cost me , now to scale it up for a 300w led, the mars is 0, which is crazy. I tried a new brand, Linqool, for 8 and it surprised me. It is recommended that you replace your 4 year old baby

@Wicked_Stix it's actually a backup light not one I'm currently using in my setup, @gREEn7o0 I just sent a chat with the specs you asked for to see if it's repairable.

It wont hurt the plant but of its 4 years old there is better technology out and it's probably time for an upgrade. I would suggest something with samsung lm301 diodes and a meanwell driver. I prefer straight 3000k spectrum because it seems to make more dense buds

I recently had one go that way. Was a mars hydro tsl-2000 Have a friend that has had a couple ts 3000s go that way as well. Before I can tell you accurately what is wrong I need your help diagnosing the issue. There is a chance it is repairable. So first off what brand/model light Is there a dimmer switch on it Does deactivating the dimmer switch or going full power eliminate the issue. Is the light flickering while remaining on, or is it flashing and turning off?
