Auto seedling discolouration

Chedsmokestarted grow question 4 years ago
This discolouration has appeared on the leaves of one of my two gorilla glue autos, it has been there since the first true leaves which makes me think it could be genetic? I’d like to know if anyone has more information on the cause or if anything needs to be done about it.

I wouldn't worry at this stage, you may just have a "blotchy" plant and all is normal. It is not uncommon for the first few leaves to be a bit weird on newly growing cannabis plants while they get themselves established. After looking at your diary to confirm it is not being caused by nutrient over load, I noticed you are growing two seedlings/plants in the same pot. This can and will cause problems, as both plants will compete for everything - root space, nutrients, water, light, - everything. Instead of getting two plants you end up with two, quarter plants. And yes, I am talking from experience. Seeing as how the smaller one is quite new, carefully digging her up and transplanting her into her own pot is your best option. This will need to be undertaken carefully, in order to not damage the roots of either plant too much and particularly the small one as the roots may be as long as 2-4 inches already. If the smaller one is not a seedling you intend keeping, cutting it off will ensure no damage will occur to the larger seedlings' root system. Hope this helps,.... Organoman.
