Hey buddy If you want a up high , you have to chop when the trichomes are 90-100 % milky , doesn't matter what strain but if your grow sativa then you get a up high anyway. Nice plant man 😀💪🍻

Chlorophyll has nothing to do with couchlock, but CBD and CBN do, which are present in higher quantities in amber trichomes. If you want up, not lock, harvest when there are still 2-3% whitish pistils left and definitely do not leave it until there are 100% brown pistils, as once there are 100% brown pistils the plant is closing in on death and a near dead plant can not support peak THC levels, leading to increased levels of CBD and CBN which is what gives you the couchlock effect. You can still get up highs from indicas, just don't harvest them too late and harvest while there are still a few white pistils left. In your pictures I would say too late already, so harvest asap. Hope this helps, Organoman.

if you like less couch lock dont go with kush lineage is my suggestion and stay away from indicas generally, dont wait till you see amber trichomes also. i’d suggest something with heavy thai lineage for an uplifting high.

Looks good! Im sure it will taste real good! When it comes the taste of your bud and minimizing the couch, think about flushing. My understanding is that chlorophyll is contributing to the "couch". https://stonerthings.com/does-flushing-nutrients-before-harvest-improve-taste/ "Leaves of plants that have been flushed further from the day of harvest have lost a lot of chlorophyll, and appear browner. Luckily chlorophyll isn’t something you want lingering in your cannabis plants when you smoke them." Also, i would look at the trichomes and how milky they really are. https://www.leafly.com/learn/growing/harvesting-marijuana You can buy a cheap zoomed camera that works with app, probably on amazon :)
