Overwatering or underwatering or other cause?

It's very hot in Rome (30+ degrees) and was away for a week. Got a friend to water mid-way. She gave quite a lot, 700ml. Came back after 3 days, plant was fine. Watered again and after 2 days, leaves dark and wilted. Put in direct sunlight, left for 3 days. Leaves died.

Plants this size/age are going to need more attention than watering once a week. If you were dealing with normal houseplants, this wouldn't be a problem (even if they needed watering more often) but cannabis is a more finicky thing. So I think this dried out - which wouldn't have been a problem if it hadn't STAYED dried out for several days. I lift every pot every day to see if the plant in that pot needs some attention and, if so, give it immediately. The only other thing I can think of is, since your friend gave it so much water (and was it PH'd properly?), did it really need you to water it again? Was the pot super light? Did you perhaps overwater? Whatever the cause, you need to deal with what IS... keep the plant in the shade if you put her outside (you don't need to add heat stress to your problems) and water/feed only when the pot is lightweight - and cross your fingers. She'll never be a gorgeous plant again since it looks like she's coming to the end of her life but at least you can preserve the harvest you can get from her. Good luck!

Update: the plant hasn't died and has been surviving 3 weeks past the last photo. The buds seemed to have fattened up even though the sugar leaves remain brown on the tips. The funny thing I noticed today is that there seems to be new white pistils growing.

Remove the saucer, cannibis hates "wet feet" and does not like standing in puddles, this is the cause of the leaf problem, drowned roots. Direct sunlight and temps of 30+ is not a problem for cannabis.

Hmm. Plants just don't up and die. It looks like it wasn't watered right to me. You'd be surprised at how bad plants can get. I had 1 very close to that. And after I watered the thing bounced back after a few hours. Looks like its cause the lack of water pal. If you are feeding her and u dealing with temps in the 30+ you need to be watering that girl everyday depending on how dry the soil gets. Its 32c in my tent and with that heat I water lightly everyday. I have to. But my 1 plant looked more or less close to that. It was at the back and missed 3 days of watering. But with heat combined with nobwater would make your plant die and less likely good of it coming back + I had high rh to help me. How long ago did u water them? If it was only now after seeing them like this wait 2-3 hrs and she's been all perky again. Good luck.
