Raizenanswered grow question 2 years ago As a beginner grower, i don't use anything else then natural products for now and homemade... For midges, and other bugs, i'm using :
- 1 bag of green tea, lemon Flavour (infused in 1L water)
- 2 tea spoon cinnamon
- 1 tea spoon wood ashes (in winter from cheminey, summer barbecue)
Put a pan with the 1L water + the cinnamon, make it boil. Put the tea on it when boiled, and let it infuse until the water starts to cool down (usually after 10mins). Wait until it cools down totally, add the ashes, put in a bottle and shake a little, then with this solution, water the plant on two days (never did more then one liter, watering, so 0.5 one day and 0.5 the other days, or less idbthe plants didn't need more watering, if needed more just used tap water).
Then to prevent them coming again made a powder mix with ashes ans cinnamon and just put some around the base of the plant on the soil (think i have a pic on the outdoor diary).
Worked with cherry tomatoes plants so used it on my first grow, seems to work if you wanna try.
Though it has been 2 months already, hope you found out a solution 👍
