Try not to over water (everyone does it). If your new I would suggest a fabric pot when you transplant that seedling when it grows into a small plant. The best thing about a fabric pot is you most definitely know when you have over watered and it's better for the root system to get air through the fabric. Make sure you don't spend too much time with your plants because it will frustrate the hell out of you with the rate of growth that your getting. Make sure to keep a journal or diary of what and when you have put in your plant. For example I label my plants and then put down if they have been fed or watered and if they have been watered how much. You can also put water amounts down to see if your putting to much or to little in. It also helps you keep your plants well fed you can go back on your records and see if you made a mistake. Also ask any silly question you want on this web site. It's a great learning resource. Take it from a guy whos been in cultivation for 15 years.

Less is more in most cases. Water, nutrients and light. Go easy and be patient. As for training, look at the strain and see what the breeder/seller and internet says. Good luck.

High Angelleanne, Read about the hobby on websites like this or www.rollitup.com and learn from more experienced growers by studying their diaries. The most common mistakes are too much water and too much nutritions. I see that you grow in soil so you do not have to give nutritions in the fist 2 weeks. And think about how much water a plant this size can consume. You can start with 50 ml water only. And increase the amount when she get's bigger and more thirsty. When you notice problems with your plant than upload a new question and we are ready to help. But till then you should really try to educate yourself about this hobby. All the answers are to be found on the internet. Goodluck and happy growing! 😋

substrate is too moist. plant should be 2 or 3 weeks old before this much water is needed. too much water will inhibit the growth of seedlings, they are vigorously trying to grow a root, roots need oxygen around them to grow, saturated substrate will force the oxygen out. rain water has a lot of dissolved oxygen.

Welcome to the wonderful world of growing cannabis! First and foremost, do your research. There's a lot of downtime while you're waiting for a plant to grow, so may as well figure out a few things, right? Diving into the actual grow science behind it will teach you a lot more than any bro science will. I suggest listening/watching videos or podcasts made by Jeremy (founder of BuildASoil) and also Mr. Grow it(Chris). They will teach you practically everything you'll need to know while starting your journey. If you would like a very science backed approach, check out the YouTube channel Debacco University. It will also shed a Lot of scientific information on any topic you might be interested in. Also, start studying and memorizing deficiency signs and which deficiency/deficiencies they can line up with. It will save you. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Like grannie said, PH Pen is vital. An EC/PPM pen helps In soil you want a wet/dry cycle. Let it dry out until the pot feels light, Or if you dig below the surface its still dry 2" down. To much care can kill a plant. Sometimes its best to sit back and watch her grow. Don't water the plant water the soil. Wet leaves can be damaged by grow lights intensity. Document how much food you feed and how often to make it easier for fixing any issues. Overfeeding will not make bigger buds it will actually make smaller ones. Balance is key Your grow light is one of the most important things that will get the best buds your strain can produce. Good Luck and Happy Growing

I grow a lot of things... from sunflowers and marigolds to orchids and weed.... and I will tell you, weed is the MOST challenging thing I've ever grown - and I love it! Welcome to the delightfully frustrating, awe-inspiring, rewarding, heartbreaking, joy-giving world of weed! You're growing autoflowers - which is all I grow... their culture is similar to but at the same time quite different from photoperiods - you can't do as many "things" to them since they're on a very set schedule and won't have a lot of time to adjust to major stress. The most important things I can tell you are these: 1. Get yourself a PH pen so you can ACCURATELY measure the PH of any liquid you give your babies. You want the range to be somewhere between 6.0 and 6.5. This will avoid so many problems down the road, I can't tell you! 2. Don't drown them in the seedling stage... they don't need more than moist soil while they develop their roots. 3. Don't start any nutes for them until they are a couple weeks old and then only start them on 1/4-1/2 strength and slowly increase 4. Always practice a water/feed/water/feed routine when you do finally give them some nutes... let the soil dry out completely before giving them something And finally - good luck and enjoy the journey! Come back as often as needed with questions/concerns - we're here to help!

Newbie here too. Don't over-water especially when she is young is a common mistake.
