How do you know the soil has no nutrients?? Most mediums have some nutrients in it. if you using GHE look at their feeding guides. https://generalhydroponics.com/category/documentation/feedcharts/ I'd use less then what they are suggesting though much less. Calculate it by PPM/EC should you decide to feed. In general what eggyones wrote is true, they don't need anything unless its in a DWC or pure coco coir setup as that medium is depleted of anything but some potassium and sodium.
