Hello- Another soil question. Currently use Happy Frog. For Promix, do you need to add perlite or vermiculite? Has anyone used Commonwealth Canna soil? Looking to use something different. Thank you in advance

I've never used either Happy Frog or Canna soil - when I grow in soil, I only use ProMixHP and no, you don't have to add anything to it - except nutes, that is - and the reason I like it is because I grow autoflowers and they don't like any nutes at all for the first couple of weeks - so I get to decide what and how much and when. Wouldn't grow anything in anything else...

I've been told to add vermiculite regardless to whichever soil I use .
For the purpose of adding the water retention but also SILICA .. perlite doesn't have it and from my understanding the Lil bit in vermiculite only helps .
Figured I'd pass that on. It's something ice started using in my recent project . But best of luck !!!
