Grab the dark part of your stem and press it between your fingers. If it is wet and soggy, it's bud rot. If it is bud rot, since you said you're close to harvest, you can chop it now. I'm not too sure the best way to dry buds with rot, but I would cut each bud off of the branch to be safe. Then, dry them on a screen instead of hanging.
If it feels normal, it might just be genetics.
I hope it's just fading or genetics.

Thats bud rot I have had it a few times get it out was any buds you think are ok and wash them there are methods online for this

Squeeze the brownish grey parts between your fingers. If it's soft and slimy it is mold.
Then you need to cut this part away and at least 5 cm (2 inch) under and above it. Because the mold is growing on the inside of the stem before you see it on the outside. And smoking moldy weed is bad for your health!

Yeah, definitely some kind of mold that you DON'T want mixed in with your harvest... I'd snip out that leaf (looks like it's only on the leaf), examine the bud to make sure there's no more by trying to pull out other leaves around it (bud rot will go INTO the bud and if it's there, the leaves will pull out easily)... if you find more, you'll need to get rid of ALL of it. I'd then spray that area with a 1% hydrogen peroxide mix to kill off any remaining spores... the hydrogen peroxide will evaporate and not affect your harvest. If it's REALLY bad, you may just want to cut off that entire bud, spray and harvest as soon as you think she's ready.

Mold on coco surface after top dressingHELP! My plants are in week 4 of flower and I gave them an organic top dressing about 4 days ago. The entire top of the coco is now covered in white/grey mold! I have just found 2 more buds with budrot..
They are around 8 weeks now. Showing milky trichomes on most. Some with slight clear/milky. Very few with amber...
I have decided to harvest right away..

Harvest early to prevent bud rot?Had some issues with bud rot, but managed to stop it. But next week it will rain every day, which worries me. I have a small balcony I can place them under, but I don't know how much this helps as the RH will still be very high. About 25% of hairs are brown. What would you do?
