Bud Rot? Mold? Or safe

SupremeGreenGrows
SupremeGreenGrowsstarted grow question a year ago
One of the branches split during a storm the other day and didn't recover after a few days so I chopped. I'm wondering if the leaves trap moisture in the bud during the days I let it recover. The backside has a brown tint to it while the front looks green and healthy. Srry 4 pics

As others have said it seems to be mold. If you pull about sugar leaves and see creepy crawlers then you know it's pest. I would toss it just to be safe. Make sure airflow is good in drying tent. Dont point directly at them though. Make sure temp and humidity is as close to 60-60 as well. Check all others to make sure it's not reoccurring on them as well! Please consider selecting me as the answer so I'm eligible for a chance to win grower of the month contest, I would truly appreciate it growmie. 😊

So from what I can see it does look like you have some mold going on. Yes, the branches and the sugar leaves will trap some moisture, but typically it's firm too high of humidity in your grow room. You can also happen if the plant is damaged and it has any open wounds. I've even seen it happen from people cutting their sugar leaves too far away and it ends up turning into a spot with mold. My two cents. Hope it helps

bortytis (bud rot) will actually be white or grey fibrous-looking mesh underneath the buds. The sugar leaves would all be dead anywhere near an infection. loss of color is a sign of 'something' but if it doesn't smell bad, probably okay. you've smoked far worse off the black market i bet.
