Popcorn buds

This is my OG Kush outdoor grow. It's kind of a side project. Fed regularly with fox farms liquid nutes. The summer was pretty warm and humid. Will these fatten up or am I stuck with popcorn buds?

Sorry to intrude..I just can't lol...looks disparagingly at GrowingGrannie *rolls eyes* There are a number of ways of telling its done. 1) All calyx's are swollen and mature 2) The density is gone from the structure of nugs its fluffy to say the least. 3) There are no signs of new stigma/pistil growth anywhere meaning the plant is uninterested in continuing its life cycle. Thats just three very basic ways of telling these plants are done. Also you did not specify that this is a Autoflower...its Og Kush - a standard photoperiod as you have clearly stated. Im not sure what GrowGrannie is smoking lol but she is off the mark here significantly. I mean no disrespect. P.S that is 100% female..no sign of hermaphroditism.... whatsoever! Those "nuts" are nothing but very mature calyx...the bract that would have held a seed had she been pollenated by a male..meaning it may look like a seed to the untrained eye but if squeezed or examined correctly you can see clearly that they are mature, empty, unpollenated, female, seed bracts. What all buds are made of for the most part. She got stressed and maybe left 10-14days too long. As you said it was a side project. A question? Did you suffer a heat wave a week or so before these photos..that could explain some of what we are seeing. Sticky Buds!

There is definitely nothing in the pods. The seeds came from Amsterdam and were not advertised as autos. Temps a few weeks ago were high 80's (88-90) and then this week it rained for 3 days straight. I'm in the NE US so the weather can go from dry and high 80's to rain for days and high humidity. I used my regular garden to hide the plants so they definitely got tended to water and nutes wise. I recently picked up a 30x loupe to time the harvest but apparently it was a little too late. Again this was a side project for me. My lady can participate in 420 whereas I cannot due to a strict drug testing culture at my place of work. It was definitely a learning experience. Thanks everyone.

If you're in the states, its an auto. Either way. My first couple came out the same way. The heat just ruined them. They came out airy, but they did taste good. Have a couple more going and hopefully they finish better in the cooler weather.

Is it possible your plant is outdoors and was exposed to pollen? That would definitely cause a premature end flowering as the plant stops flower production and shifts to seed maturation. Check for make flowers. Good luck

I never started a diary or kept dates. It's a photo not an auto. If I had to guess she's about 10 weeks old, can't really remember when I planted it. Again it was more of side project than anything.

No way to tell, mate... we'd need a diary with a whole bunch of information about the grow. At LEAST tell us how old she is, is she an auto or a photo (probably an auto if she's that much in bloom) ... but more information, please! Start a diary and put in as MUCH info as you can and then come back and ask your question again! Sorry!
