If you're doing your first grow, you need to start a diary here... as questions/concerns/issues come up, the more information that's available, the better help and advice you'll get, so please... start a diary. If your plants are looking hungry, then it's probably time to start them on nutrients... especially if they're starting to get yellow... start them today! Good luck

If your plants are going to yellow all over, then yes, it's time for some food. It appears the soil you are using is free of nutrients for the most part with only enough nutes to carry the plant for a couple of weeks and then the intention is to feed. So I'd begin a feeding regimen that's nitrogen rich for the veg portion of the grow.
