Raizen... you've caught me doing exactly what you are doing here... My advice is to chop now and save whatever you can of her! I tried to cut out the bud rot and let the rest of the plant continue but it spreads and spreads and spreads.... the spores have a rather deadly aim! I've been cutting out so much every day, my actual harvest is going to be sad. I was waiting because I wanted the trichs to improve just a LITTLE - but they're not ... so I'm pretty sure my entire grow is going to go to edibles or some such.... But that's ok... a learning experience for me! Chop NOW... don't wait... it's not going to be worth it! And expect, when you trim, to find even more of that nasty fungus... when you encounter it, cut it out and sterilize your knife/scissors/whatever.. and spray a little bit of a 1% hydrogen peroxide on the area ... this will effective kill the spores that are right there but the hydrogen peroxide will evaporate nicely off the buds... Good luck... get to work!

Hey Dutch... the reason both m0use and I give the advice we give here about bud rot is because, unlike you it seems, we and MANY people this summer have had to contend with bud rot ourselves. It's one thing to read an article and say "oh yeah, this is what you should do" and another thing to have to actually fight it when it invades your grow. You may take pleasure in my misfortunes and laugh at me and make stupid comments about the issues I've dealt with this summer - as you did in my Yuhbary diary - but at least I grew something this summer. What did YOU grow?

High Raizen, I do not understand why the 2 growers below tell you to harvest a plant that is far from harvest... You better harvest 50% from a plant with full matured buds then 90% undevelopped buds... this will not give you any high whatsover. Here is a link from the growweedeasy website what to do with and after budrot. https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/bud-rot#:~:text=Bud%20Rot%20Removal,the%20rest%20of%20your%20plant. Goodluck!

Looks like bud rot to me, I would chop the entire plant and give it a wash with some peroxide to help kill of any remaining spores, cut out all dead rotton stuff and start the dry and cure right away. On you next grow will need to watch out for the high humidity and keep the air flow up. Good Luck! ***disclaimer, multiple people are answering all questions as there is a contest called GOTM, when a user is selected as the answer they get a point. High Raizen, That is really sad! Good that you noticed it and cut it off before it could harm the buds that are still left. You do not have to cut these buds now because they are not ready yet! They will be ready in about 2 weeks. Just keep an eye on budrot because smoking buds with budrot is not a smart idea. And Harvest the rest from the plant when it is ready (around 2 more weeks!). Hope that you still have a decent harvest from this plant in a few weeks!
