New growth gets lighter in color

VividGreen

Looking at the pictures you can see new growth on both plants is getting lighter in color each day. I’m thinking nitrogen, maybe? Complete day by day photos are in the diary. Thanks

Fresh growth can border on yellow for healthy cannabis plants. I, honestly, don't see a problem. The older leaves are still dark, so it isn't a nitrogen problem. That would show up in the older leaves first, since it's a mobile nutrient. All I can suggest is a light defoliation. I hope this helps. Have fun with your grow!

Iron deficiency. Try adding some soluble trace elements to your fertilizing schedule and the plants should recover in a week or two, but ease up on the nitrogen, they are super dark green and starting to show signs of nitrogen toxicity, as evidenced by some of the leaves starting to "claw". Nitrogen/macro nutrient deficiencies start showing with the older leaves. Trace elements/minor nutrient deficiencies start showing with the newer leaves.

To me, it honestly looks like you had been giving them too much nitrogen at the beginning... the older leaves look a bit too dark - but it obviously didn't do your grow any harm! Now, the leaves look absolutely normal to me and I think you have nothing to worry about. Looks great, as a matter of fact! I would be very happy if this was my grow! Good luck!

I have browsed through your diary, and the first thing noticed is how much the plants grew in a week. This kind of explosive growth requires a lot of energy and nutrients, so you were right on the dot concerning the nitrogen supply. Try rather to fertilize more often, without drowning them, rather than making a stronger solution. Preferably every third watering should be water only, to avoid salt build up. The plants look fantastic, so relax, pay attention and enjoy the ride !

Hi New growth is normally lighter until mature but make sure your feeding a decent ratio feed and your light isnt to far away height wise.. Other than that looks good 👍 Best of luck 🌱

I agree with Hashy below. New growth is lighter green by nature. Nothing to worry about whatsoever. In fact its looking very healthy week done getting it this far! Hope that helps. Sticky buds!

Newer growth is usually a bit lighter then established growth. Your lower leaves look a dark green which shows you don't have a N deficiency. I would be tempted to say nothing wrong, carry on as you are.
