Watering: How much?

I am still trying to learn and understand how watering is done optimally. I weighed my pots before watering. Is there a way to determine how much water is too much? I used 1.5lt per pot for the first watering, and I am monitoring to see if it is too little (based on drying).

Hi there With seedlings you want to keep the soil damp/moist and lightly spray to water you dont want to soak the soil or seeds/early roots will rot, They dont need alot of water to start with.. as they get bigger and roots get more established they will dry out quicker and you’ll need to water a bit more off, Best of luck 🌱

First, never water all pot if plant is small. Imagine russian doll, just with smaller pots in your pot. When started if sprayed daily in 30 liters pot i was using 200 ml of water for 4-6 days. Now those 200 ml i divided into 3-4 parts and was giving every 10-15 min. How girl grows, you expand, but two parts go in circle around external edge of leaf, the rest under stem. My biggest girls needed 7 litera every 3-4 days, normally at full size girl needs 3-5 liters during that period. I grew in 30-40 liters pots too When roots will reach bottom, girl height up, same roots down as easy counting Only then you will water with run off, till that time you try not to overwater, lifting pots with seedlings wont help, you will dry or hurn them OR constantly overwater , don't know how your mind will go... Happy Growing !!!
