The language that follows is about the subculture that perpetuates myth and not any individual sucked up by it. ... but it's without much of a doubt an urban myth. The historical reasoning given has been proven untrue, then they just mke up new reasons why it's still important to prevent a contussion to their ego of repeating something useless for decades.. but, the original reasons that were repeated like gospel are in fact total nonsense, so why believe the peanut gallery about this yet again? mineral content of buds is not affected by a flush. blind taste tests cannot distinguish between flushed and unflushed harvests. it's 99.99% likely to be anecdotal nonsense at this point. ego is the only reason to cling to it or make up new excuses why it wasn't actually those reasons 'we' do it it, it's these new reasons i just pulled out of my ass after being proven thoroughly wrong by science and a proper experiment or two, LOL nah, let's just assume things with no udnerstandingn of a baseline cause we did somethign and hubris leads us to think tht everythign we do is obviously value-added without comparing to anythingelse otherwise we'd be dumb for doing it, LOL it's funny cuase it is dumb, BWAHAHAH

ignore trichomes on leaves. trichome coloration - plastic vs glass look, cloudy, amber, clear etc.. pistil colorationa and retraction (they coil at and, but plumping of calyx is an illusion that they are shrinking but are not yet. density of colas use'em all... it provides consistency of timing despite some genetic differences tht you will eventually encounter. test early-middle-late harvests. can google for various suggetions of harvest window based on trichome color and pisitl color. you should really experiement becuase even though a late harvest with more amber is supposedly couch lock sleeptime buds, it may ot may not be that way for your body's chemistry. Think of how most who take nyquil get sleepy, but a few get super hyper.. same drug, different reaction in different ppl. most likely late harvest wil have that impact, but don't assume. maybe do a staggered harvest at some point... take a cola early in harvest windwo.. label it... and so on with other samples at different points throughout with bulk where you think you like it.
