one part vermiculite, one part compost, two parts loam or topsoil, three parts coarse perlite, and three parts filler (decayed bark, shredded coconut fiber, peat moss, or any combination).

I always mix light soil(or normal soil) at 50% with perlite in it 25% coco 20% compost 5% expanded clay Perfect for me
