Mold in rock wool ?

Hi everyone,
We are at the 19th day of hydroponic growing with rockwool as the only substrate. Our system is the ebb and flow 15/15 :)
Do you have any ideas? Maybe you can help us!

If you are using enzymes then this is normal, by product. or any PH adjusters its just Salt drying in.. defo not mold pal.
Stop wetting the rock wool. The roots drink not the stem..

It could be mold, but also looks like calcium buildup from hard water. If your plant does not seem to be affected, I'd just watch it. If your plant seems stressed, I'd be doing some cleaning. I grow in rockwool and have experience similar and it was just hard water.

This is SPARTA! Get that out of the grow space. Clean all your equipment, learn from the mistake and mive forward. You don’t want any of that mold in your space, or in your body with the end result. ❤️👊🇨🇦

Hi! Mmm, mold is not good, be careful it didn't start from the inside, from the roots! It really looks like that mold that comes from root rot.. I've never used the ebb&flow method, I prefer DWC or drip system :) also be careful because keeping the rock wool "exposed" will ruin the roots when they're in the light! They need to stay in the dark.

Sprouting delay. How long do I wait? Are lights on and fans running important while waiting for germinated seeds to sprout? Did I need to size up to larger rockwool cubes?Geminated seeds in 1x1x1 rockwool cubes. End state is to be in 5 gallon buckets with 8" net pot and clay pebbles. I figured the roots are too small to reach all the way into water solution still so put small cubes into 4x4x4 rockwool. Did I need to use larger cubes?

Seadling didn't make it if I had a nursery tent I will have try to lay her in comaShe it's almost 14day🙄doesn't look good I will give her upp to not waist place in tent. Stunted growth info needed ThanksGot a stumped seedling from a stuck shell and has a bent leaf. Shell removed, Moisten the leaf and left her, Moved light, Now trying to force the light into the bent leaf with a bit of cardboard. She is clearly stumped compared to the other 3 1 the same strain. Any info welcome👍

Cotyledon leaf falling off an autoflower while seed husk is falling offHas anyone ever had a cotyledon leaf fall off of an autoflower as the seed husk was coming off? One of mine did from my sweet mango auto. The 2 first "true" leaves are present and seem to be growing. Just wondering if it will be heavily stunted because of this. Converse away :)5y ago
