Germinating auto?

Hello, first time grow. Was wondering if germinating my auto directly in my soil is better then putting it in a solo cup?

Either works, both show success it's a pick your poison scenario as Iainishere said there are some great YouTube videos on the topic. Hope this helps!

Autoflowers should always be germinated in the pot they're going to end their lives in - they don't like high stress and transplanting is often quite stressful. There is nothing to be gained by starting it in a solo cup... it's an unnecessary and potentially dangerous step... Good luck....

check youtube for videos on best germination methods, I think most people prefer either the water or paper towel method so they can see whats happening and sure sure the seeds popped but if you can do it then its probably better for the seed to do it in soil. good luck
