Green seeds but brown calyx

I have two fertilized ABC plants The seeds are starting to pop out of the calyx but are still green. Some of the calyx pods are already brown and today one fell on my hand but the seed was still green. What is the problem?

Plant was pollinated too late in its life and is dying (brown calyxes) before it has the time to mature the seeds properly would be my guess according to the information provided, however, a picture or two would really have helped with giving a better suggestion.

Is this Shell membrane crucial to life? Will this bag-seed Seedling survive?Will it survive? The seed was pried open with saliva and pruners once it broke soil. I see some brown (what I suspect to be) membrane that maybe needed to stay with the cotyledon.

Seeds not germinated after 3 days It’s been 3 days in cotton pads and the others have atleast an inch of taproot so why are these ones struggling? How long to wait until planting in soil? Please help me with stunt seedlings Having trouble with two of four plants, growth stunted, no new growth in 2 days. #1 and #2 thriving, #3 and #4 stunted. Can they recover? Using 100% coco medium in 1gal fabric pots, watered with 200ml pH 6.0 water on 02/21 and 02/22. Each plant gets 300 PPFD in 18/6 schedule.

Buon giorno weed doctors, please help understand the issue, maybe smb has seen this before. I lost two seeds of the same cultivar to the same symptoms...TY Two seeds, same cultivar, 1 week difference, both pop neck bended with white woody spot at the base of one of the cotyledons. Doesn't spray the leaves, the membrane wasn;'t getting off w/o help. And I know it's not substrate - 2 other breeders germinated 100% and look healthy. TY
