Autos in 4x4

Lazuli
Lazulistarted grow question 3y ago
I always run out of space when i grow 4 autos in a 4x4 (coco). Would they stay smaller if i kept them under lower watts untill they start flower? And what nutrients would u reccomend? I like to have more bud less leaf (i used floranova bloom for years)

Prune some of the lower branches that would normally take horizontal space ( trying to grow around the top ) nice side effect is more power routed to the rest of the plant.

You're not going to make a plant less leafy by using a lower wattage... growing things just doesn't work that way. Your best course of action, imho, would be to defoliate as they get into flower (not in the veg state!). And smaller plants, btw, just means smaller harvest... better to run 2 or 3 instead of 4 and let them go crazy! You'll get a better harvest than you would if you dim your lights... And if you've used floranova for years, why change?! Good luck!
